Turn your rut into a groove.

am--7 The In-Laws wanted to go to the track, so I thought it would be good to do some 800s. When we got to the track, however, there was a soccer game going on. So we ended up taking the trail around Santa Clara. It turned into a family rock, but it was saved with 4 Fartleks of 3 minutes at around a 7:00/mile pace. Wore the bright yellow Speedstars.

pm--5 I went to the Dentist, rushed home, and jumped into my running clothes. I can't lie. Tonight was all about getting some miles in. 

am--6 I had to get out for a run this morning. Yesterday, family, fatigue, and yard work kept me happily distracted from running, so I had to get out.

pm--6.25 My body is feeling fatigued. I wonder if I'm getting the gamboo or if the body's just sending me messages. BTW, I like the cushion of the cumulus. 

am--6.25 A pleasant and cold and lonely run.

pm--6.5 My body was feeling refreshed today, and I hit 3 or 4 of my miles at a nice easy cruise of about 8:00/mile. 

am--6 My fourth double this week. The mornings are still cold, but there seem to be more runners braving the elements in the wee hours of the morn.

am--11 I set out to do 8 but just kept going in the middle, so I kind of left myself out to dry. 11 was hard. This week, my body has been a little off. I still put in what I consider some good miles.
